The Vanguard Piping Compensator is designed for industrial applications. The basic concept of the piping compensator was originally developed by Rotherm Engineering for steam line applications in the paper industry.
Provides universal compensation for pipe movement - up to 35 percent of the overall length of the standard compensator casing (Dim A).
Becomes an integral part of the piping system-eliminating the need for tie rods, anchors, hinges, gimbals or other alignment devices.
Ten degrees angular compensation.
Full circle (360 degrees) torsion rotation-making it possible to install without the expense of unions.
Longitudinal compensation can be as much as 2D while lateral compensation is 0.0876 L, less calculated compression allowance for nipples, D.
Do not use stainless steel liners.
