The Series 600 Rotherm Rotary Joint is designed for applications requiring one or two passages that transfer fluid into or out of a rotating shaft. Typical applications are for introducing fluids when the end of the shaft is not available for more traditional rotary joints.
The Rotary Joint is designed to fit tightly on an existing shaft, locked into place with three set screws and sealed to the shaft with O-Rings.
The rotor, made of stainless steel, rotates with the customer's shaft. Sealing between the rotor and the body, made of carbon steel or aluminum, is accomplished with O-Rings or Lip Seals, depending on the application.
Bearings are made of bronze bearing material.
